Below you will find the character descriptions of the main actors:
"The series follows three best friends — gay men of a certain age — who, after an unexpected death, decide to spend their golden years together in Palm Springs, where the wealthiest one lives with his mother," the official logline reads. "As a chosen family, they prove that no matter how tough things get, there's always someone to remind you that it would be better if you just got your neck done."
Mid-Century Modern is created by Will & Grace's Max Mutchnick and David Kohan, with Ryan Murphy serving as an executive producer. When the project was first announced, it was originally described as an "even gayer roommate sitcom" take on the classic comedy series The Golden Girls. It is executive produced by Mutchnick, Kohan, Bomer, Lane and James Burrows, with the latter also directing the pilot. It is a production of 20th Television.
