Huw Edwards asked to repay £200,000 of BBC salary
Huw Edwards is under increasing pressure to repay his salary to the BBC after he pleaded guilty this week to accessing indecent images of children.
Lisa Nandy, Britain's culture secretary, said the former newsreader must pay back about £200,000 ($255,000) of his salary to the BBC after his dramatic fall.
Edwards was arrested in November 2023, but remained on the BBC payroll until his dismissal in April 2024, during which time he was suspended.
