Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, the director helming the reboot of I Know What You Did Last Summer, has dismissed rumors that the new film will ignore the saga's sequel, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.
Robinson posted a message on social media claiming that the new slasher film would not take into account the events of the 1998 sequel. However, he made it clear that he would not ignore the events.
“It’s absolutely not? ISKWYDLS is canon. Hope this helps,” Robinson shared on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.
