Paramount Home Entertainment has announced the I Love Lucy: The Complete Series Blu-ray release date for the iconic 1950s sitcom starring comedy legend Lucille Ball and actor-musician Desi Arnaz. The series ran for six seasons from 1951-1957.
The complete series of 'I Love Lucy' is coming to Blu-ray!
"In October 1951, Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz debuted the first episode of what would become one of the most beloved and watched television shows of all time," reads the description of the Blu-ray set. "Crazy redhead Lucy and her Cuban bandleader husband Ricky Ricardo, along with their neighbors and comic counterparts Ethel and Fred Mertz (Vivian Vance and William Frawley), find themselves in some of the most hilarious situations imaginable. Packed with notable guest stars and escapades that never lose their entertainment value, it's no wonder everyone still loves Lucy."
For the first time, all 194 episodes of I Love Lucy will be officially available on Blu-ray starting November 5. The Blu-ray set includes many special features, such as remastered versions of The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour and three long-lost flashback scenes.
