Imax has signed an agreement with Muvi Cinemas, Saudi Arabia's largest cinema operator, to open four new Imax With Laser locations (its most advanced offering) in some of the country's largest shopping malls, including two in Riyadh, the capital and most populous city, and one in the Mall of Arabia in Jeddah.

Another location is the first Imax system in Dhahran.
Three of the new locations are scheduled to open by the end of this year, with the fourth in 2025.
