Inside Out 2’s incredible run at the box office has led to the film breaking multiple records. The highly anticipated sequel was released on June 14th earlier this year and has been a huge box office success over the past two months. As a result, the sequel has managed to break into the list of the top ten highest-grossing films of all time.

At the time of writing, Inside Out 2 has grossed a whopping $1.56 billion at the worldwide box office, earning it the tenth highest-grossing film in history.
The film has grossed over $900 million overseas to date, with the remaining $626 million coming from domestic revenue.
Despite entering its eighth week of theatrical release, the Pixar film still grossed $27 million worldwide over the weekend. $20 million of that came from overseas revenue, with the film’s recent Japan premiere bringing in $5 million, according to Collider. Inside Out 2’s stellar financial performance has also led to Disney becoming the first studio to surpass the $3 billion global gross this year.
