The joyride continues for Disney and Pixar's Inside Out 2, which has entered the list of the top 10 highest-grossing films of all time worldwide. Now having grossed nearly $1.524 billion worldwide ($1,523.9 million) through Wednesday, the sequel has passed Furious 7 ($1.515 billion) and The Avengers ($1.521 billion) to grab the 10th spot on the all-time chart.
Through Wednesday, international box office grosses stand at $905.1 million. Mexico, where IO2 is the highest-grossing film ever, has surpassed $100 million, while its final release market — Japan — opens today. Domestically, IO2 is at $618.8 million through yesterday.
The top 10 offshore markets so far are Mexico ($100.5 million), Brazil ($77.3 million/highest-grossing film ever), the United Kingdom ($64.9 million), Korea ($58.2 million), France ($55.6 million), Italy ($47.1 million), China ($45.9 million), Germany ($44.7 million), Spain ($44.4 million) and Australia ($35.1 million).
