The Interstellar re-release has been delayed until December.
Rumors of Interstellar 70mm film burning debunked as re-release planned
Although Christopher Nolan's Interstellar was originally set to return to theaters on September 27, 2024 in honor of the film's 10th anniversary, the film will now be released approximately two months later, on December 6, 2024.
According to Variety, the film will be shown in 70mm Imax prints and on digital screens.
There were rumors circulating online that Paramount was scrapping the re-release altogether, after the 70mm copies were destroyed following the film's original release. However, sources who spoke to Deadline have denied this.
