Seven Cemeteries Trailer #1 (2024)
“A recently paroled man (Danny Trejo) convinces a Mexican witch to resurrect his old gang so they can help him save a woman’s ranch from a ruthless drug lord,” reads the synopsis of Seven Cemeteries.
Tyler Treese: Efren, congratulations on Seven Cemeteries. Your character, Miguel, is described as useless, but you can stop a bullet. I like his attitude. He sees the positive side of death. There's no pain, no expectations. What really drew you to this character?
Efren Ramirez: I think it’s his funny way of looking at life, even after he’s gone. Sometimes even people, in general, can feel dead inside because they feel like they haven’t accomplished something or something has broken their heart to the point where there’s a sense of stagnation. In this case, with Miguel, he wasn’t ready to die. Somehow he was cheated. In one of the scenes, it’s revealed who killed him and how he died, but there was a little glimpse of that, and in the script, if I remember correctly.
