Conversation with David Henrie, Mel Gibson, Mason Thames and more!! MONSTER SUMMER INTERVIEWS!
“When a mysterious force begins to disrupt their summer fun, Noah and his friends team up with a retired police detective to embark on a monstrous adventure to save their island,” the synopsis reads.
Tyler Treese: Mel, your role in Monster Summer is really fun early on. You’re kind of the classic weird neighbor that the kids all talk about in low tones like he’s a monster. You’re a bit of a local myth. What did you like most about that initial ambiguity of the character?
Mel Gibson: Well, you know, it's set up without you even trying to, because it's what the other characters say about this guy. "He buries his wife in the backyard," and all that kind of antics, you know, so it's easy from there to disappoint or surprise the expectations that have been set. So it's kind of an opportunity. It's kind of a gift, really.
