The Japanese and English voice actors talk about My Hero Academia: You're Next | Red Carpet Interview
"My Hero Academia: You're Next takes place after the conclusion of My Hero Academia Season 6 and just before the final battle between heroes and villains. In this film, we'll see Deku and his friends encounter a new threat: a mysterious figure calling himself Dark Might, who claims to be the new symbol of peace," the synopsis for My Hero Academia: You're Next reads.
Daiki, we've seen a lot of growth for Midoriya throughout the anime, and we see him use everything he's learned to fight Dark Might in My Hero Academia: You're Next. What did you like most about Deku's storyline overall?
Daiki Yamashita: A lot of that impressed me. In every scene, there’s always a little sense of growth and strength that comes with every episode. Of all those things, I would like to point out how he picked up his Shoot Style as one of his moves. Throughout the movie, he goes through his days with this goal in mind, of wanting to be a hero like All Might.
