Interview: Tony Hale on presenting The Dating Game in Woman of the Hour
"The stranger-than-fiction story of an aspiring actress in 1970s Los Angeles and a serial killer on a years-long killing spree, whose lives intersect when they're cast in an episode of The Dating Game," the synopsis reads.
Tyler Treese: Your character, you're the host of The Dating Game. You have a great hairpiece. You have long sideburns. The look was just fantastic. Did that help you get into character, or what did you like about that?
Tony Hale: Oh yeah. I mean the little helmet wig and tight plaid pants. Little mutton chops. I mean, you can't help but think, "Yeah, I get a sense of this guy. I get a sense that he's given a thumbs up to this look that says a lot about someone."
