Marvel Studios has finally released some footage of Ironheart.

Executive producer Ryan Coogler was on hand Friday night at the Honda Center in Anaheim along with the cast, including Dominique Thorne and Anthony Ramos, for a first look at the upcoming Disney+ series.

After catching up on the events of Black Panther 2, in which Thorne’s Riri Williams played a key role in saving Wakanda, we learn that she’s now trying to get out of a creative rut, skipping classes and focusing all of her energy — and her university’s resources — on her next project.

“I want to build something undeniable,” she says, just before she’s expelled from MIT. With no cash flow, she finds a new way to make money in questionable ways by teaming up with Ramos’ The Hood.
