WWE superstar Drew McIntyre recently shocked the internet with his photo with AEW star Jack Perry during the CM Punk incident. The rivalry between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk has become personal in recent months.

CM Punk cost McIntyre the world title at WrestleMania 40 and continued to sabotage his career. He, as referee, denied McIntyre the chance to regain the title at Clash at the Castle in Scotland. Later in June, McIntyre qualified for Money in the Bank, won the briefcase and cashed in the main event. However, Punk interfered again, attacked McIntyre and prevented him from winning the championship.

CM Punk is a constant thorn in Drew McIntyre’s side, sabotaging his title chances. However, the Scottish Warrior is not afraid to hit back. McIntyre has repeatedly criticized Punk, capitalizing on his injuries, taking his spot at WrestleMania and trolling merchandise.

Additionally, Drew McIntyre recently took his feud with CM Punk to a new level by posting a photo with AEW star Jack Perry, captioned “Cry us a river.” The direct dig was a reference to the infamous backstage altercation between Punk and Perry at AEW All In 2023.
