ITV/BritBox series 'Code Of Silence' completes cast
EastEnders and Strictly Come Dancing star Rose Ayling-Ellis is joined by Kieron Moore (Vampire Academy, Masters of the Air, The Corps), Charlotte Ritchie (Ghosts, You) and Andrew Buchan (Broadchurch, The Honourable Woman) in the upcoming ITV and BritBox International crime drama Code of Silence. Nathan Armarkwei Laryea (The Witcher), Joe Absolom (Doc Martin), Beth Goddard (The Serpent Queen), Andrew Scarborough (Wolfblood), Fifi Garfield (Coffee Morning Club) and presenter Rolf Choutan, in his acting debut, have also been cast in the six-part show, which begins filming today. Code of Silence is told from the perspective of Alison Brooks (Ayling-Ellis), a deaf canteen worker who is drawn into a high-stakes police investigation when DS Ashleigh Francis (Ritchie) asks her to use her lip-reading skills to keep tabs on a dangerous criminal gang. Mammoth Screen is producing, with the drama indie’s parent company ITV Studios selling the show internationally. It will debut in the UK on ITV1 and ITVX, and in the US and Canada on BritBox in 2025.
