Jack Nicholson, Spike Lee and Billy Crystal to be honored by the Basketball Hall of Fame
Jack Nicholson, as much as anyone, helped define the glitzy cool of sitting on the sidelines at an NBA game. Fittingly, the Lakers stalwart — along with Spike Lee, Billy Crystal and Alan Howitz — will be honored by the Nasmith Hall of Fame as part of its 2024 Enshrinement Weekend.
The quartet joins the James F. Goldstein SuperFan Gallery in the Hall.
Lee will be honored for his passionate promotion to the New York Knicks, with Crystal being celebrated for his longtime Clippers fandom and real estate mogul Horwitz for his dedication to the Philadelphia 76ers. The ceremony will take place on Sunday, October 13 at 10:00 a.m. PT on the Jerry Colangelo Court of Dreams.
