Jack Quaid already plays Superman in the animated series My Adventures With Superman, but the Boys actor recently revealed that he also wants to play the role of the real-life live-action hero.
Jack Quaid Reveals He Auditioned to Play Live-Action Superman
In a recent interview with Josh Horowitz on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Quaid revealed that he, along with others, had auditioned for James Gunn's upcoming Superman film, which is set to usher in the DC universe.
"I think everybody did," Quaid said during his audition. "When you meet one of those requirements… it's just one of those things. I didn't get very far at all. I put myself on tape and it didn't go anywhere, and that's fine."
Quaid also praised the casting of David Corenswet, who will play Superman in the upcoming film. The actor noted that he has a small relationship with him and completely understands why he was chosen.
