Warner Bros. Discovery has argued that a new docuseries about Jacob Rees-Mogg is not intended to give the controversial right-wing politician a platform.
When Meet The Rees-Moggs was announced earlier this summer, it caused quite a stir in the UK, with tabloids even calling the series Mogglebox and comparing it to The Kardashians.
Rees-Mogg was a former member of the Conservative Party government but lost his seat in the British parliament in last month's general election when Labour came to power. He also presents a programme on the right-wing GB News, in breach of TV rules on impartiality.
