The "You've Got a Friend" singer was scheduled to perform at the United Center in Chicago and was spotted rehearsing his number, but he was ultimately turned down.
“It was exciting to see and hear so many speakers on opening night of the Democratic convention here in Chicago. And we had a great rehearsal with @RickeyMinor and amazing singers, @KenyaHathaway and Mathew Johnson for the event,” Taylor wrote in a statement on Instagram.
