Jamie Lee Curtis on REUNITING with Lindsay Lohan for 'Freaky Friday 2' (Exclusive)
The Academy Award winner paid tribute to co-star Lindsay Lohan in a touching message on Saturday as the film prepares to wrap production on the long-awaited sequel to Disney's 2003 adaptation of Freaky Friday, set to premiere in 2025.
"The last FRIDAY of this FREAKIEST FRIDAY or should I call it CRYDAY," Curtis captioned a black and white selfie. "We still have a few days left of next week but it's coming to an end and when I got to work this morning and looked at the hundreds of people who came together to make it happen for the fans, shoot the movie in California, I felt especially grateful for my ULTIMATE screen daughter, @lindsaylohan, without whom we could never have made this movie. Never. She gave me a @suziekondi shirt after I complimented her on hers and I wore it today in her honor. On to wig and work. Thank you for all the @disneyd23 LOVE! It was LEGENDARY!"
Lohan wrote in the comments section: "So much [love] and gratitude for YOU and this AMAZING experience and many more fun times together in the future!!"
