The BAFTA Award, Golden Globe Award and Academy Award-winning actress can now add the Emmy to her list of awards after taking home the prize for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy on Sunday for her role in the hit FX series.
Speaking backstage after her win, Curtis was characteristically direct and grateful for the opportunities she's been given amid the content boom of the past decade.
"I'm the luckiest girl in the world. I've been an actor since I was 19. I'm 65. I've been selling yogurt that makes shit for seven years, and I never thought I'd get to do work of this level, this depth, this complexity, this intelligence," Curtis said. "It's just the thrill of my creative life the last few years that I've been given these opportunities, so I'm humbled and incredibly grateful."
