After 25 years, Jason Biggs used one of his most memorable roles to make a joke about marketing.

The American Pie star, who hosts Netflix's Blue Ribbon Baking Championship, joked that "no pies were damaged" during filming of the baking competition series, which is "safe to watch with the whole family" and is available now on the streamer.
"I really wanted to present something in the food world," Biggs told USA Today. "Of course, I wink at the camera and the audience like a baking show host. And if I don't know what to say, I always have a pie joke up my sleeve that brings the house down."
The series premiered last month, on the heels of the milestone anniversary of his breakout role in American Pie (1999), long known for the eponymous scene in which Biggs' awkward teenage character Jim has sex with an apple pie.
