Oscar nominee Jennifer Tilly says joining The Real Housewives is 'like working with Martin Scorsese'
The Academy Award nominee admitted she "never thought I'd be joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" and spoke openly about the "sharp turn" in her career following her promotion to "friend of The Housewives" for season 14.
"For me, it's like working with Martin Scorsese," Tilly told Vulture. "My boyfriend always says if he gets $40 million, he wants to go to space and experience weightlessness. For me, being on Housewives is experiencing weightlessness. I was more excited to meet Kyle Richards and Erika Jayne and the other ladies than I was when I met Elizabeth Taylor. They've asked me if I want to be on the show, and I've always said, 'No. No.' This year, I was like, I just want to do things differently. I'm trying to challenge myself."
Tilly is known for her roles in films such as Bullets Over Broadway, Bound, Liar Liar and Bride of Chucky. She recently reprised the role of Tiffany Valentine (aka Jennifer Tilly) in the Syfy spin-off Chucky.
