Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) had a friendly and generally lighthearted debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight, briefly touching on last week's debate and focusing heavily on his past as a high school teacher.
Jimmy Kimmel breaks down the vice presidential debate between JD Vance and Tim Walz
“I can't think of a bigger compliment than this, but you seem like the type to take the lint out of the dryer after every use,” Kimmel said at the end of the segment.
Walz's debate against J.D. Vance last week was mentioned only briefly. Kimmel asked him about the moment he asked Vance if he believed Donald Trump had won the election. The GOP VP candidate declined to answer.
“That should have been the lead 85 minutes earlier,” said Walz.
