"It's sick," Biden told reporters in Rehoboth Beach, DE. "It's sick. It's one of the reasons we have to unite this country. We cannot allow this to happen. We cannot be this way. We cannot condone this."
Biden said he tried to reach Trump, but he has been to his doctors. “He seems to be doing well. I hope to be able to talk to him soon.”
Biden said he did not yet have enough facts to say whether the shooting was an attempted assassination.
