UPDATE, Aug. 9, 2:15 p.m. PT: Joe Rogan said he was not endorsing the presidential candidate following a backlash among Donald Trump supporters over Rogan's comments praising Robert F. Kennedy Jr. "For the record, this is not an endorsement. This is me saying that I like RFKjr as a person, and I appreciate the way he discusses issues with civility and intelligence. I think we could use more of that in this world," Rogan said in a post on X on Friday. Rogan added, "I also think Trump raising his fist and yelling 'fight!' after getting shot is one of the most American fucking things of all time," writing, "I am not one to get political information from."
Rogan Supports RFK Over Trump
Trump, meanwhile, hit out at Rogan over the podcaster's support of RFK Jr. "It will be interesting to see how hard Joe Rogan gets booed the next time he steps into the UFC ring??? MAGA2024," Trump posted Friday on Truth Social, the social network operated by Trump Media & Technology Group.
Hugely popular podcaster and comedian Joe Rogan said he is supporting Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for president in this fall's election.
"He's the only one that makes sense to me," Rogan said on Thursday's episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast. "He doesn't attack people, he attacks actions and ideas, but he's much more reasonable and intelligent. I mean, the guy was an environmental lawyer and he cleaned up the East River. He's a legitimate guy."
