John Aprea, the actor known for his roles in The Godfather Part II and Full House, has died. He was 83.

Aprea died of natural causes on Monday, August 5, at his Los Angeles home surrounded by family, according to his manager Will Levine.
Aprea was born on March 4, 1941, in Englewood, New Jersey, and made his film debut in 1968's Bullitt, opposite Steve McQueen. He went on to make one of his most memorable appearances as Young Tessio in The Godfather Part II (1974) after auditioning to play Michael Corleone in Francis Ford Coppola's original 1972 film.
He also appeared in films such as The Stepford Wives (1975), New Jack City (1991), The Game (1997), Dead Man on Campus (1998) and The Manchurian Candidate (2004).
