Oscars 2024: John Mulaney Thinks "Field of Dreams" Should Have Been Nominated for Best Picture
John Mulaney, who made his Broadway debut in “Oh, Hello” with Nick Kroll, is returning to the stage to star in “All In: Comedy About Love,” a play by former “Saturday Night Live” writer Simon Rich.
The show, based on Rich's short stories that were published in the New Yorker, is described as a collection of "hilarious tales of dating, heartbreak, marriage and all that stuff" performed by a rotating cast of "some of the funniest people on the planet," including famous faces from "SNL," Broadway and more.
According to the official release, "Sometimes they play pirates, sometimes they play dogs, and there's one where we have them speak in British accents. But even though the show is a bit all over the place, it's meant to tell one simple story: that the most important part of life is who we share it with. We hope that everyone can relate to that, even if the idea of their date was to come and they're starting from a place of quiet resentment."
