Jon Stewart did it live on “The Daily Show,” hosting a special edition of the Comedy Central talk show following the final night of the Democratic National Convention on Thursday. The program aired minutes after Kamala Harris wrapped up her speech accepting the party’s presidential nomination.

Stewart's monologue covered events from the four days of DNC speeches and media coverage, but one specific target was how conservative Fox News was covering the event. The "Daily Show" host poked fun at the network's anchors for covering the DNC as a boring event with no one talking to each other. A reel was shown of contributors saying things like "the vibes are off" and "this is probably the most boring scene I've ever seen."
“Oh, so boring,” Stewart replied. “I forgot your life is an endless joyride of talking to Brit Hume between catheter ads.”
Stewart also criticized the DNC itself, particularly its decision not to feature a Palestinian-American speaker due to Israel's ongoing military attacks on Gaza.
