Despite his growing film career, Emmy nominee Jonathan Bailey (Wicked) has officially confirmed that he will return as Anthony in Netflix's Bridgerton Season 4. After finding romance in Season 2, Anthony's role in the final season was briefer, as he only appeared in a few episodes. His Season 3 storyline concluded with him and Kate heading to India for the birth of their first baby.

During a recent interview with Good Morning America, Bailey revealed that he hasn't read the scripts for Bridgerton season 4 yet. However, he hinted that they already have a target production date for the next installment, which will now be led by Luke Thompson's Benedict Bridgerton.
"Well, I'm looking forward to reading the scripts. No, I mean we're going to follow the stories," he shared (via X). "The brilliant thing about Bridgerton is that there are so many different ways that you can fall in love as a human being, and that's what the show will explore, and as the older brother, I'll obviously be there to support the young ones as we go forward."
He continued: "I've got a couple of weeks in my schedule for my return, so I'm really excited. And Luke Thompson is going to be amazing. And who knows who his love interest will be?"
