Jonathan Bailey talks about 'Fellow Travelers'
Viscount Anthony Bridgerton is staying put. Jonathan Bailey confirmed today that he will reprise his role as the eldest Bridgerton brother in the upcoming fourth season of the hit Netflix period drama. Following on from season 3, which saw his younger brother Colin (Luke Newton) find love with Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan), Anthony is expected to have a few key scenes next season.
"I have a couple of weeks in my schedule to get back," Bailey said of filming Bridgerton Season 4 during a GMA interview focused on his Emmy-nominated role on Showtime's Fellow Travelers. "I'm looking forward to reading the scripts."
Unlike Season 1 couple Daphne (Phoebe Dynevor) and Simon (Regé-Jean Page), who were never seen together again, Season 2 leads Anthony and his bride Kate (Simone Ashley) both returned for Season 3. (Dynevor returned solo for a few scenes in Season 2, but then left the series altogether.)
