Jorge Ramos deja Univision: as announced the 2024 final
Jorge Ramos may be leaving Univision, but the popular Spanish-language news veteran has no plans to leave the media industry behind.
Ramos, who announced Monday that he plans to leave his posts at Univision's "Noticero Univision" and "Il Punto" after the 2024 presidential election, has selected CAA to represent him in the next phase of his career. "This is not a goodbye," he said in a statement Monday. "I will continue to anchor Noticiero Univision until December, and then I will share my professional plans. I am deeply grateful for these four decades at Univision and very proud to be part of a team that has built strong leadership over the years."
CAA has built relationships with several top news anchors, including ABC News' George Stephanopoulos and Brian Williams, the former NBC News and MSNBC host who signed with the agency in 2023 to help him find potential opportunities after leaving the NBCUniversal-backed media.
