After the renowned international comedy festival Just for Laughs filed for bankruptcy earlier in 2024 and cancelled its last edition, it is now making a comeback.
The festival will return to Sydney, Australia, from November 18 to 28, 2024, under new ownership ComediHa!, which took over Just for Laughs in June after it was forced to reduce its staff and sell off certain assets. Trevor Noah, Eric Idle and Brad Williams are among the Sydney performers, as is Melanie Bracewell, who will host the All-Star Gala.
JFL then moves to Bermuda for its 17th edition, January 22-24, 2025, followed by a stint in Vancouver from February 13-22.
