Blackswan has rebranded itself a few times. The group originally debuted with Rania in 2011 with the mini-album Teddy Riley, the First Expansion In Asia. Over the next decade, the group faced multiple hiatuses, with the original members leaving when their contract with music agency DR.
Currently, Blackswan has only four active members: Fatou, Gabi, Sriya and NVee. Under the new formation of the act, the EP Roll Up from 2024 will be the first EP release. Previously, Blackswan released a few single albums and a studio album, Goodbye Rania.
Blackswan brings the summer heat to K-pop with their MV "Roll Up," which explores a bohemian theme with punchy lyrics. The music video showcases the members' brimming confidence as the group sings, "When I step in the room like that/ All eyes on me/ You are so bad/ Everyone says you are bad/ But it makes me feel curious/ I'm catching your attention/ But I don't mind/ From now on I'mma move like that/ I know I'm the best."
