Before the official release of Kagurabachi Chapter 43, spoilers online revealed that the fight with Kyora will continue as the sorcerer loses his life in the upcoming episode. The previous chapter saw Chihiro voluntarily re-enter the warehouse to try and rescue the prisoners from Kyora's vault.

The spoilers for Kagurabachi Chapter 43, titled "Fulfil", began with Chihiro believing that he had to touch each prisoner to transfer spiritual energy into them so that Hakuri could pull them out. Meanwhile, Shiba was worried about Hakuri and Chihiro's condition, as they were fighting. Hakuri stated that the warehouse only remained standing due to Kyora's willpower. He explained that if Shinuchi took over, the warehouse would collapse with Chihiro and the prisoners inside.

Despite Kyora temporarily gaining control, the death flowers continued to kill people. The Kamunabi sorcerers decided to retreat, as Kyora was slowly losing his mind. Meanwhile, Kyora remembered the words of his deceased wife. She told the sorcerer that he could end the Rakuzaichi auction and that he didn't need to.

She told him that if he had given up, he would have been more human and a better person, but the auction seemed to have power over the Sazanami clan. However, he remembered his father, who had left him to continue the tradition.
