Now, almost three decades have passed, his quirky character Senapathy returned to the silver screens and left everyone in awe.

Senapathy, who is now around 106 years old, is back to teach a hard lesson to the corrupt officials of the country. However, once again his method of bringing peace to the society is controversial. Moreover, he has to bear the consequences. Apart from Haasan, the film also stars Siddharth, SJ Suryah, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar and a cameo by Kajal Aggarwal.
Despite the huge buzz surrounding the film, it received mixed reviews from the audience. After its theatrical release, the film is now available on Netflix. According to the streaming service, the synopsis reads: "Amid rampant corruption in the country, a group of vloggers urge freedom fighter-turned-vigilante Senapathy to return to finish his mission."
