President Joe Biden resigns, endorses Kamala Harris | Democratic endorsements pour in
Vice President Kamala Harris praised Joe Biden after his decision to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race on Sunday, calling it a “selfless and patriotic act.”
“President Biden is doing what he has done his entire life: putting the American people and our country above all else,” Harris said.
She also said that "my intention is to earn and win this nomination." Biden endorsed Harris shortly after announcing his decision to withdraw, but it will be up to the Democratic National Convention delegates to decide who the nominee will be.
