The princess, who has been out of the public eye for the first half of the year due to chemotherapy, received a standing ovation when she appeared before the crowd. She has been patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club since 2016, but was absent from this year's tournament until today's final.
The Princess of Wales came out onto the pitch after the match to present the trophies. It was her first public appearance since watching the King's official birthday parade, Trooping the Colour, last month, and she appeared on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with other members of the royal family.
Kate sat in the royal box with her daughter Charlotte and her sister Pippa Matthews.
