Kate Winslet responds to request to hide her rolls during filming | This Morning
Kate Winslet has revealed how a crew member advised her to sit up straighter to hide her 'puffy stomachs' while filming a bikini scene in World War II drama Lee.
Winslet says she turned down the suggestion because it suited her character Lee Miller, a photojournalist who goes from shooting for British Vogue to documenting the front line.
"There's a bit where Lee's sitting on a bench in a bikini… And one of the crew members comes up in between takes and says, 'You might want to sit up a little straighter.' So you can't see my rolls? Never! It was intentional, you know?" she told Harper's Bazaar UK.
