EXCLUSIVE: Katherine Renee Kane will depart the CBS drama FBI in Season 7, sources reveal to Deadline. We understand she will appear in at least one episode before her character Special Agent Tiffany Wallace departs.

She joined during the show's third season, taking over after Ebonee Noel's departure as Kristen Chazal. The reason for Kane's departure is unknown.

As Deadline exclusively announced earlier today, Lisette Olivera is joining the series in the series regular role of Syd, a trained Behavioral Analysis Unit agent who’s set to rotate into the field. She’s positioned to take over duties as Scola’s (John Boyd) partner, a role that will remain open for Tiffany. While Syd’s prior experience is as a desk agent, there are layers to her personality and resume that allow her to seamlessly transition to the streets as a field agent, production sources reveal.

FBI, which concludes its sixth season in May, follows the inner workings of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's criminal division in New York as they fight to keep New York City and the country safe.
