Keke Palmer, Naomi Ackie, LaKeith Stanfield and Demi Moore will star, with additional casting underway. Filming on the main films begins this fall.

Aaron Ryder and Andrew Swett are producing for Ryder Picture Company, along with Allison Rose Carter and Jon Read of Savage Rose Films. Mike Jackman and Gus Deardoff will serve as executive producers. Neon is financing the film with Waypoint Entertainment and has acquired worldwide rights. Neon will produce and handle international sales.
The film revolves around a group of enterprising boosters (also known as shoplifters, equals) who target a ruthless fashion guru. More details about the plot have not yet been released.
Riley is a multihyphenate who works as a director, producer, and screenwriter in film and music. He is best known for his 2018 feature film debut Sorry to Bother You, starring Stanfield and Tessa Thompson. Riley also created the Amazon original miniseries I'm a Virgo starring Jharrel Jerome.
