Kevin Nash on CM Punk Restructuring His WWE Deal
Since his return, CM Punk has had heated confrontations with stars like Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes. But none of these rivalries compare to his feud with Drew McIntyre. The rivalry began before the Royal Rumble, with both stars trading verbal jabs.
The animosity quickly turned personal when CM Punk was injured, allowing Drew McIntyre to take his spot at WrestleMania 40. At WrestleMania 40, Punk cost McIntyre the World Heavyweight Championship. The feud continued as Punk stopped McIntyre from chasing the title on two occasions, once in McIntyre's home country of Scotland and again at Money in the Bank a few weeks ago.
Despite CM Punk not yet being medically cleared, WWE continues to utilize him in various non-physical capacities. This strategic approach by the promotion has also earned praise from WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash.
