Season 2 of Kim Nam-Gil's The Fiery Priest is set to premiere in the second half of 2024. The production team will announce the release date soon and fans are already excited, especially after Nam-Gil was recently spotted on set during filming.

The Fiery Priest is a 2019 investigative comedy drama with 40 episodes. It revolved around a witty but rude Catholic priest, Kim Hae-Il (Nam-Gil). The murder of his senior priest leads him to Detective Koo Dae-Young (Kim Sung-Kyung) and Prosecutor Park Kyung-Sun (Lee Ha-Nee). The trio then solves the case.

According to Netflix, the synopsis reads: "When his fellow cleric dies under murky circumstances, an irascible priest, unable to ignore what's happening, sets out to find answers."
