King Charles is known for his decades-long routine of healthy eating and exercise, but the British media is raving about the monarch making a major change in his 76th year.
King Charles SHOCKS EVERYONE BY HAVING LUNCH ON DOCTOR'S PRESCRIPTION
Charles is known for his super fitness and has always eaten breakfast, tea and a light dinner, but he has avoided lunch, calling it a "luxury" he couldn't fit into his busy schedule. He previously revealed to the BBC that he doesn't eat meat or fish for two days a week, and that he doesn't eat dairy on one day either.
However, the Daily Mail reports that Charles, following his cancer treatment earlier this year and on doctor's advice, has started to include lunch in his diary, with one particular food at the top of the list: avocado, in an effort to maintain his strength as he recovers from a serious illness.
The Daily Mail quotes a source as saying: "He now reluctantly eats something for lunch – a snack, really. He now eats half an avocado to get through the day. That's important, especially when you're ill."
