After a positive update about the reboot, there has been an increase in discussions about Jeremy Renner’s involvement in the upcoming King Spawn film. Recently, director Todd McFarlane revealed the official title for the Spawn sequel and confirmed the completion of the script. Following this, fans were curious to know if Renner would play Twitch Williams or if he would be replaced.
In 2018, there were reports of Jeremy Renner's official casting as Detective Twitch Williams. However, Renner's involvement in King Spawn has not yet been confirmed. This is due to the film's script undergoing many changes and delays since its announcement.
Jason Blum recently announced on X (formerly Twitter) that the sequel will be called King Spawn. He also shared an image of the title page of the screenplay.
