Kit Harington says he has "kind of withdrawn" from Jon Snow's Game of Thrones spin-off.

In June 2022, it was reported that a Game of Thrones spin-off series centered on Harington's Jon Snow character was in early development. Little news about the project has followed, and in April 2024, Harington revealed that the project is now "off the table."
"At this point, it's off the table because we all couldn't find the right story to tell that we were all excited enough about," Harington told ScreenRant. "So we decided to just put it on hold for now. Maybe at some point in the future we'll come back to it, but not right now. It's firmly on the shelf."
Speaking to GQ Magazine, Harington explained why the Jon Snow series never came to fruition.
