Larry Vallon Dies: Concert Director at AEG, Universal Amphitheater
If you've been to a concert in Southern California in the last fifty years, chances are Larry Vallon had a hand in it.
Vallon, who worked in concert production for more than 50 years, died today at home. No details about the cause were available. He was 77.
Vallon was a fixture in the national concert industry, working for such entities as Concert Associates, Wolf and Rissmiller, Universal Amphitheater, Larry Vallon Presents and AEG, producing thousands of shows for acts ranging from The Stones, Pink Floyd and The Who to small theaters.
