ComingSoon Editor-in-Chief Tyler Treese sat down with Lonely Planet stars Laura Dern and Liam Hemsworth to discuss the new Netflix romantic comedy. The duo discussed a major theme in the film, awkward moments, and more. The film is streaming now on Netflix.

Tyler Treese: Laura, your character in Lonely Planet, Katherine, is in a very vulnerable position. She's struggling with writing and she's just gotten out of a 14-year relationship. What did you find most interesting about where your character starts the film?

Laura Dern: I think it's very relatable in some ways. I just have to learn to write, and then everything falls into place.
