Goldtooth WoW Classic Quest (Bernice's Necklace)
Ophélia Kolb (Call My Agent!), the protagonist of a struggling mother on the fringes of society, stars in “The Courageous” (“Les Courageux”), Swiss-American Jasmin Gordon’s first attempt at making a feature film. The film will have its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival (TIFF) on September 10.
Co-produced by Maximage and RTS Radio Télévision Suisse, the family drama centers on Jule, a single mother of three young children living in a small town surrounded by majestic mountains and lush forests. But her life is not so peaceful. Burdened by her past mistakes and a world that offers no second chances, she is determined to prove to her children—and to herself—that she is still worthy.
Gordon was born in Los Angeles and studied literature and photography in the US and France. In 2006 he graduated from Stanford University's MA in Documentary Film.
