Roadside Attractions has released a new Lee trailer for the upcoming biographical drama, which will be led by Oscar winner Kate Winslet, who will play the American war correspondent and photographer. The film is set to hit theaters on September 27.
LEE Official Trailer 3 (2024) Kate Winslet
"The film chronicles a pivotal decade in the life of American war correspondent and photographer Lee Miller. Miller’s unique talent and relentless tenacity produced some of the most enduring images of war in the 20th century, including an iconic photograph of Miller herself posing provocatively in Hitler’s private bathtub," the synopsis reads. "Miller had a profound understanding and empathy for women and the voiceless victims of war, and her images capture both the vulnerability and brutality of the human experience. Most importantly, the film shows how Miller lived her life at full tilt in her search for the truth, at a tremendous personal cost, forcing her to confront a traumatic and deeply buried secret from her childhood."
